The ointment is our fiber, milled down into a semi-occlusive base, so it carries the same active material.
What will I see, and when?
Many users see a bright red wound bed within a day or two, which is usually new capillaries forming at the surface. Some wounds take up to a week to show real improvement.
What does it cost per treatment?
In our bench testing, 0.1ml covers about 2.5 x 2.5 inches. That's around $1.40 per application with the 1ml, under 50 cents with the 6ml and about 22 cents with the 30ml.
What if they lick it?
It's non-toxic if ingested, but it stops working once it's licked away. Keep the patient off the wound until it absorbs (at least 15 minutes is ideal), using a treat or an e-collar if needed.
When shouldn't I use it?
Skip it on heavily draining or highly exudative wounds. It's for topical use only.
