Where healing begins…

What if the wounds that make you nervous... just didn't anymore?

You know the ones. The degloving injury that arrives Friday at 5:47 PM. The chronic pressure sore that's failed everything else. The bite wound that's definitely contaminated. The post-op complication that makes your stomach drop.

What if those cases became manageable - predictable, even?

RediHeal Wound Care is a bioactive fiber wound dressing that does what conventional products can't: it actively participates in healing from the moment you place it. Made from borate-based bioactive fibers (the same FDA-approved technology trusted to heal diabetic ulcers), it creates an instant healing scaffold, kickstarts blood vessel formation, and provides natural antimicrobial protection - no antibiotics, no steroids, just proven biomaterial science doing what it's designed to do at the cellular level.

Safe for dogs, cats, equines, avians, and exotics. Works on primary and second intention wounds. Virtually scar-free results in many cases.

Why This Works (and why you'll actually use it)

It provides natural antimicrobial protection. RediHeal's borate fibers create localized pH modulation and ionic activity as they dissolve—enough to suppress bacterial growth without antibiotics that breed resistance or steroids that delay healing. Your contaminated wounds get the protection they need without the complications you don't.

It builds a scaffold your patient's cells can actually use. The moment RediHeal contacts wound fluids, it forms a fibrin-like matrix that gives healing tissue something to grab onto from day one. This isn't passive coverage—it's active organization of the wound bed so everything heals in the right place.

Blood vessels show up early and often. As the borate fibers dissolve, they release boron and calcium ions that upregulate VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) expression. Translation? Your patient's body gets the signal to build new blood vessels immediately. More blood vessels = more oxygen, faster granulation, better wound closure. Your wounds fill with richly vascularized, actively healing tissue instead of just sitting there hoping for the best.

Healing happens faster—measurably faster. Clinical documentation shows up to 50% faster healing compared to conventional wound care. That means better outcomes, fewer complications, and in most cases, virtually scar-free results because the healing is organized from the start.

Easy Application That Fits Your Workflow

RediHeal's soft, manageable fibers conform to any wound shape and work with your preferred bandaging method, including tie-over bandages. The material is fully resorbable, so there's never anything to remove—just reapply every 3-7 days during rechecks.

The 4.5gm size (our most popular size) contains 3 pods. Each pod covers approximately a 4″ × 4″ wound, 1-2 times.

The Science Behind It

Here's where we get to geek out a little: RediHeal Wound Care uses borate bioactive fibers—a class of biomaterials that's FDA-approved for human chronic wound care. This isn't experimental technology thrown into veterinary medicine to see what sticks. It's established medical science with proven clinical efficacy, now available for your wound cases.

So what makes borate glass different from conventional wound dressings?

Traditional bioactive glasses are built on a silica (SiO₂) backbone—a rigid structure that's slow to break down and doesn't participate much in healing. Borate bioactive fibers are built on boron (B₂O₃), which forms a more reactive, three-sided structure. The result? A material that dissolves faster, more completely, and actively releases therapeutic ions that upregulate your patient's cellular healing machinery.

What happens when RediHeal hits the wound:

The moment it contacts tissue fluids, the borate fiber starts dissolving in a controlled, continuous reaction. As it dissolves, it releases boron, calcium, and phosphate ions that stimulate VEGF expression, enhance alkaline phosphatase activity, and accelerate angiogenesis. We're talking more blood vessels, more granulation tissue, faster epithelialization.

The antimicrobial effect:

That controlled dissolution also creates localized pH modulation in the wound environment—enough to suppress bacterial growth naturally, but not enough to damage healthy tissue. No antibiotics involved, just chemistry doing what chemistry does.

Bottom line: RediHeal doesn't just cover wounds and wait for healing to happen. It actively participates from the moment you place it.
